It's fun to watch the road being built in this noisy, action-packed picture book — from digging and clearing to laying the groundwork, full of shout-aloud sound words, rhythm and rhyme. Children will love recognising familiar sights, from diggers to road signs, in the bright, bold art, with an illustrated glossary naming each road-building vehicle.
